Nabeel is the Founding President and CEO of Gladia. He is a purpose-driven and impact-oriented leader with three decades of leadership experience. Most recently, he was the Vice President of PATH, a global leader in health innovation. Earlier, he worked for fifteen years with the United Nations and Commonwealth systems where he last served as an Assistant Secretary-General. Prior to that he was the General Manager of a public sector corporation and Member of the Planning Commission of Pakistan. In addition, he worked on several consulting assignments globally with organisations such as the World Bank, USAID, and the ILO.

Tasneem Goheer
Co-Founder and Director of Operations
Tasneem is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations at Team Gladia, with proven experience in project management, advocacy, and community engagement. Working at Advocacy in Barnet, London, she contributed to initiatives that helped the organisation earn the Queen’s Voluntary Service Award in 2015. She led an intergenerational project, funded by the Mayor of London’s office, in 2024, delivering transformative programs that connected generations, strengthened communities, and inspired social cohesion.

Adeel Khalid
Adviser to president
Adeel Khalid serves as Adviser to the President of Team Gladia, providing strategic advice on development initiatives, organisational development, partnership engagement and leadership priorities. Drawing on close to two decades of experience across multilateral organisations, government reform programmes and international development partnerships, he supports the President in shaping strategic direction, strengthening institutional capability and identifying sustainable collaboration and funding opportunities.

Hannah Weir
Project Manager
Hannah supports Team Gladia through her research, project management, and community engagement skills and brings a broad professional background spanning both academic and third-sector organisations. Alongside her role with Team Gladia, Hannah works in the evaluation of health and social care innovations within the UK. This work has shaped her commitment to holistic approaches to complex challenges, with particular interests in climate change and global health. Hannah holds an MSc in Global Mental Health, jointly awarded by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and King’s College London. She is based in London, UK.

Arif Akbutin
Strategic Engagement Lead
Arif is a dynamic young leader with a multi-faceted background in international relations, finance, and community action. Born in Japan to Uzbek parents and raised in the UK, he embodies global interconnectedness and brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to his work. Arif has successfully led diverse projects ranging from green energy initiatives with UK Power Networks in London to educational programs for youth in Japan. A CFA Level 1 candidate and Politics and International Relations graduate from Queen Mary, University of London, he is dedicated to integrating youth perspectives into high-level strategic frameworks. Arif is a multilingual professional based in London, UK.
